Happy Spring!

I've been missing in action for awhile now and the only excuse I have is -- well -- not much. I have been busy with my newest book, Cherry Wood Place. It's now available for pre-order and will be released April 7.

Reach For The Sky!

Dare to dream. Dare to reach for the sky.

The first step on the road to success is to DREAM IT.

Creating goals - both business and personal - are very important.  Do you want to succeed?  Take a moment and do this.

1.  Write down your goals.  Write down what you want to achieve, both in the short-term and long-term. Get on the right track - DO THIS! I know, I hate writing down goals too, but I think it is important to identify what it is you want to achieve.

What do you want to accomplish?
When do you want to achieve this?
Will you allow others to help you?
What do you want for yourself and your family?

BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR GOALS!!!

By making a commitment to succeed, you're making a statement to yourself and others.

I remember hearing this and it struck a cord.  I'd like to share it with you.

Make a choice to be successful.  There's still time this year to accomplish something you've wanted to do.  For me, obviously, it's finishing a book or perhaps a set of short stories.  Right now, I'll take the challenge with you and make a commitment.  Will you join me?

Had to share this.  I don't know about you, but sometimes I let "things" get in the way of taking each step I need to take to accomplish something I've dreamed of for ages.  When I read this, I smiled, because it so applied to me.

Does anyone else let their life take over and feel like they aren't in control?  Do you sometimes feel down in the dumps and feel like there's no need to keep trying?  Do you sometimes ignore your dreams because it just seems like it's too hard and too much work?

Well, I needed to read this thought.  Maybe it will help you because there's nothing more exciting, fun, fulfilling, and wonderful than accomplishing something you've dreamed of.

So -- get up, dress up, and go for it!

I Have News

I just got word from Bookstrand Publishing that they want my next story, Murder and Lies.  It's scheduled to be released in electronic formats in January 2012 and in print format in May 2012.  I'm excited.  It is always so nice to know that someone likes your story and wants to publish it.  Watch for it.  It's another mystery and I think you'll like it.

I also received an e-mail from a reader of my story, Never Too Late, My Love. She says: "This was a awesome book.  I couldn't put it down....It was great."  Thank you so much Joslyn for letting me know you enjoyed my story.  That's why I write.  I love creating stories and especially love it when I hear from a reader who enjoys reading them.
